Perfect Print & Cut Alignment Every Time!

RaZerLaser's Universal Print & Cut Camera Retrofit Kit for Ruida Based CO2 Lasers - Patent Pending

Are you tired of wasted time, material, ink, and energy?

Why spend $30,000+ on a laser just to have a print and cut camera? Now you don't have too!

Professional print-to-cut registration for your existing CO₂ laser. No new machine required.

You've already got a capable laser. Now give it the one feature that separates entry-level machines from professional production systems — precision vision registration that cuts exactly where your artwork says to cut, every single time with 0.1mm cutting accuracy.

The RaZerLaser Print & Cut Camera Retrofit Kit installs directly onto your existing Ruida-based CO₂ laser and turns it into a fully capable print-and-cut production machine for $1,500 USD, compared to our competitors that charge $6000.00+ for a camera on top of a $30,000 machine.

Compatible with the laser you already own.

Thunder Laser · OMTech · Aeon · Boss Laser · Monport · OneLaser · AP Laser · Laguna Tools · VEVOR · Wattsan · RedSail — and virtually any other CO₂ laser running a Ruida RDC controller.

What it does.

Print your artwork on your material of choice. Drop the substrate on your laser bed — no jigs, no super precise positioning. The RaZerLaser camera starts at the first reference mark, detects all other marks, maps your substrate position, corrects for any shift, rotation, or skew, and cuts in perfect alignment with your print.

Every time.

Here's exactly how it works:

  1. Place your pre-printed substrate on the laser bed
  2. Lock the first mark — manually jog to your first registration mark; the camera captures its exact coordinates
  3. Auto-traverse — Software drives the laser head to each remaining mark automatically, building a complete positional map
  4. Calculate — the software computes a corrected transformation accounting for translation, rotation, skew, and scale
  5. Cut — your laser runs the corrected path in precise alignment with your printed artwork.

What's in the kit.

Everything you need to install and start cutting:

1x RaZerLaser Camera Module 1x Installation Instructions
2x 3M Braided USB Cable 1x USB Bulkhead Adapter

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

What the RaZerLaser Camera Module Is

The RaZerLaser Print & Cut Camera Module is a precision vision and registration accessory designed to retrofit onto existing CO₂ gantry laser engraving/cutting machines. It enables accurate alignment between pre-printed artwork and subsequent laser cutting or engraving operations — a workflow commonly known as "print and cut."

The module is a passive hardware accessory. It does not control the laser independently, does not power the laser on or off, and does not operate without direct human oversight and intervention.

1.2  Hardware Components

  • USB-C micro camera optimized for close-proximity registration mark detection

  • Ultra Light Weight Design
  • Aluminum enclosure for heat and impact resistance

  • Magnetic rail mounting system with neodymium rare earth magnets

  • Universal Mounting Kit bonded to the laser head via industrial adhesive (Cyanoacrylate). This kit does not require any drilling or modification to mount to the laser head. The adhesive will bond the aluminum together.

1.3  How the System Works — Step by Step

The following describes the complete intended workflow from start to finish:

  • Step 1 — Pre-Print:  The user pre-prints artwork onto their substrate using a separate printing device (UV flatbed printer, inkjet printer, screen printer, etc.). The laser machine is not involved in the printing process.

  • Step 2 — Placement:  The pre-printed substrate is placed onto the laser machine's work bed.

  • Step 3 — Manual First Mark:  The operator manually jogs the laser head to the position of the first registration mark on the substrate. The software records the exact coordinates of the mark.

  • Step 4 — Automatic Mark Traversal:  The software automatically commands the laser head to traverse to each remaining registration mark, captures each mark's actual coordinates, and builds a complete position map of the substrate.

  • Step 5 — Transformation Calculation:  The software computes a corrected coordinate transformation (accounting for translation, rotation, skew, and scale) to align the laser path precisely to the printed artwork.

  • Step 6 — Laser Execution: The laser initiates the corrected laser job and provides perfect cuts across the entire work area with 0.1mm cutting accuracy.

1.5  What the Camera Module Does NOT Do

  • Does not independently operate the laser at any time

  • Does not function as an automatic fire detection, smoke detection, or safety monitoring system

  • Does not replace any safety features, interlocks, or protective devices built into the host laser machine

  • Does not alert, notify, or shut down the laser in the event of fire, malfunction, or operator error

  • Does not reduce or eliminate the need for direct operator supervision during laser operation

  • Does not communicate with external alarm systems, emergency services, or safety infrastructure

PART 2 — SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

⚠️  READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE — FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MAY RESULT IN FIRE, SERIOUS INJURY, OR DEATH. BY INSTALLING OR USING THE RAZERLASER CAMERA MODULE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO ALL TERMS SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT.

2.1  Mandatory Operator Safety Requirements

The following requirements are non-negotiable conditions of safe use. Failure to comply voids any product warranty and releases RaZerLaser Inc. from all liability.

  • NEVER leave your laser machine unattended while it is operating. An operator must remain present and alert throughout the entire duration of any laser job. This requirement applies regardless of job duration, material type, or level of automation.

  • The camera module and all associated cables, mounts, and hardware must NEVER obstruct, interrupt, or cross the laser beam path at any point. Before initiating any laser job, physically verify that no component of the camera system is within the beam's travel area.

  • Once the start button is initiated, the laser head will perform automatic movements without further operator input. Keep all body parts, clothing, cables, tools, and any other obstructions clear of the laser head’s entire path of travel before starting any job. Do not reach into the machine while it is in operation.

  • The camera module does NOT monitor the laser for fire, smoke, malfunction, or unsafe conditions. It is NOT a safety device. The operator is solely responsible for monitoring the machine and work area at all times.

  • Always follow ALL safety instructions, warnings, and operating procedures specified in your laser machine manufacturer's manual. The RaZerLaser camera module does not supersede, replace, or modify any manufacturer safety requirements.

  • Ensure all laser-appropriate fire suppression equipment (such as a CO₂ or dry powder fire extinguisher rated for Class B/C fires) is immediately accessible before beginning any laser operation.

  • Never operate a laser machine in an unventilated space. Ensure adequate fume extraction and air filtration are in place for the materials being processed.

2.2  Installation Requirements

  • The camera module must be installed in strict accordance with RaZerLaser's installation instructions.

  • Magnetic mounts are attached to the laser head using industrial adhesive (Cyanoacrylate). Ensure adhesive is fully cured before operating the machine. Refer to the adhesive manufacturer’s specifications for cure time.

  • Adhesive Safety — Apply the following precautions whenever handling super glue (cyanoacrylate) or epoxy adhesives during mount installation:

  • Always wear chemical-resistant gloves (nitrile or neoprene) when handling adhesive. Do not allow adhesive to contact bare skin. Cyanoacrylate bonds skin rapidly and removal requires medical-grade solvent.

  • Wear safety glasses or goggles during application. Do not allow adhesive to contact eyes. If eye contact occurs, do not rub, and seek medical attention immediately.

  • Apply adhesive only in a well-ventilated area. Cyanoacrylate fumes can irritate the eyes, nose, throat, and respiratory system. If ventilation is insufficient, use a respirator rated for organic vapors (minimum N95/P100 with organic vapor cartridge recommended for enclosed spaces).

  • Keep adhesive away from clothing, work surfaces, and any materials you do not intend to bond. Adhesive spills are difficult or impossible to remove without causing damage.

  • Store adhesives in their original containers, tightly sealed, in a cool dry location. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of used containers in accordance with local regulations.

  • After installation and curing, physically verify that the camera, mount, cables, and all hardware are secure and cannot shift during machine motion.

  • Do not modify, disassemble, or alter the camera module hardware in any way. Unauthorized modifications void the warranty and create safety hazards.

  • Ensure all cable routing is secured and cannot be snagged, pinched, or pulled into moving machine components.

2.3  Material and Operational Safety

  • Only process materials that are rated safe for use in your specific laser machine. NEVER process PVC, vinyl, chlorinated rubber, or any other halogen-containing materials in any laser system under any circumstances. Burning halogen-containing materials produces toxic gases including hydrogen chloride and dioxins, which are hazardous to human health and fatal in sufficient concentrations.

  • Do not operate the laser at power, speed, or focus settings outside the manufacturer's recommended parameters for your machine and material.

PART 3 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RAZERLASER INC., ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY "RAZERLASER") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, INJURY, OR CLAIM OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE, MISUSE, INSTALLATION, OR OPERATION OF THE RAZERLASER CAMERA MODULE OR MANTISOFT SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
